Heard some areas considering passage of ordinances that make it illegal to play soundtracks of weapons firing around where the pick ups are staged including music, movies and shows. No more open air, open door or open window plays of 1812 overture or well tracked Action Movies or good mudic tracks on phones, radios, computers, TV, movie screenings...

Some recordings of gunfire will be a false positive especially if playback volume is dynamic and directional. I understand most recordings would be filtered out or not even picked up since the sensitivity of the devices even misses real muffled shots.

It's the same parent organization as the Urinal News.

It just talks about the number of "shots" it's detected, how they're constantly improving the software to filter out false activations, how there's a frequent lag of as much as 10 minutes between the "shot" and the first corresponding 911 call.
