News Cover Up in Hudson Valley

On Thursday Evening close to 9pm while heading North on the Taconic State Parkway in Dutchess County, we passed an accident scene in the Southbound lanes with a strong police presence, auxiliary lighting, first responders, State DOT vehicles, and south bound Taconic closure with flares, truck mounted lane flashers, and NYSP.

Out of curiosity we looked for information about the horrific scene. Mid-Hudson News, Facebook, emergency response blotters / websites declaring an MCI and the Journal site all discussed a 115 mph police chase of a vehicle with seven occupants and an accident with at least two fatalities.

Today, all postings are gone.

No information can be readily found with basic surface search tools. Backtracking internet views from cookies came up empty.

Has anyone else seen a horriffic accident scene with dozens of responders and hundreds of witnesses disappear from the internet web top surface similar to this? Cover ups are silly since so many tools exist to recover once posted information so I am curious.

Thanks but it was not this one, this was by Route 52 intersection in Dutchess.

Last night's postings also said that North and Southbound lanes were closed but Northbound was open and moving when we passed, although a few morons trying to force their way on to the Northbound lanes were making it dicey.

I don't know anything about that incident in particular, but I was involved in one several years ago where a b.s. piece was printed two days later and then the story just disappeared.

I believe it was July 2nd east Rt7 after Albany street before the Rt5 over pass. If you go by there you can see the blue circles painted on the road.

Something definitely went down, one of the guys I work with is a volunteer EMT and did hear it come across his scanner. If I had to speculate, it appears to be getting covered over, maybe the driver or one of the accomplices has close ties to law enforcement of some sort and it’s being squashed. One can only speculate. Maybe they were BLM/Antifa and got let go with a warning...

Posts deleted from "news" social media and taxpayer funded agency accounts. Seems silly when hundreds witnessed some elements of incident, laws were broken (115 mph chase will do it), dozens responded, thousands of taxpayer money spent in response (dozens of NYSP, dozens of NYSDOT, many first responders), information was posted on internet, and they did a shitty job cleaning debris on Taconic and grass median. On the radio it was reported as a MCI (Mass Casualty Incident) but sometimes those excited reports are premature and less serious.
