My fear is that with all these different Dems running many of the fence sitting voters will find one that they like even though they don’t have a chance. Then once their candidate is bumped out during the primary they will just stay on that side of the fence and vote for whichever Dem makes it to the general election.

This is all smoke and mirrors. The real candidate will announce their run at the last minute. Michael Obama will announce his candidacy right before the debates.
This is more than just a possibility IMO.
The clowns will continue to fundraise and pander to their bases deflecting any and all criticism of the candidate to come. Gives the Dems ability to test positions on issues and determine the “best” positions and defenses for a single candidate to take to unseat Trump. Nothing but a huge regression analysis.
