NICS waiting period just expanded

My last purchase was a Ruger LCP during a holiday weekend. It was denied and put on hold due to a large volume of people buying that weekend.

Going forward, I will buy in the middle of the week. If it’s put on hold, I will cancel the sale and go to another shop a few days later to purchase it again to circumvent the 30 day NYS waiting period rather than having to wait the 30 days.

I don’t really know. I guess delayed. They told me to come back a few days later.
