Hundreds upon thousands of positive police encounters are irrelevant. The hundreds upon hundreds if not thousands of negative police encounters are what matters.
Or the "citizens" may just keep taking it until they snap and start sniping at LEO's and their families, after all they (leo's and politicians) are the one that foster the us vs. them laws and mentality! We've seen it already, the cops in Ca gunned down while eating lunch. Do you think it was some personal thing or was the shooter just plain fed up?

We do, its supposed to be bound by the US Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Sadly, our government has become corrupt and it gives authority and special privileges to its enforcement arm to keep us oppressed. But as the words are written, we should be equally armed to an infantryman. I know you know this, and I get why you responded the way you did, but I also hope you realize that its not right.
Police or citizens being viewed as criminals or bad or good is not the point or the argument at hand. The point is that rights violations, improper conduct, and the enforcement of clearly unconstitutional laws need to stop. Who cares what police are viewed as were citizens are viewed as.

How about doctors fondling patients while they are asleep, and more people die of medical malpractice than by guns each year. I know of a lawyer who misguided a number of general contractors that lead to these guys going to jail.
