Lmao, my wife doesn't care anymore, hasn't for years. She figures the bills are paid, she has money in her pocket, anything she says she needs, she gets, no questions asked.

I agree with so much that is said here. when did 178 of anything = a STOCKPILE... I have over 17 wrenches but im not stockpiling wrenches. I agree they all have a semi specific purpose.. My goodness!! trying to pigeon hole gun owers into these little sub categories... 1 gun eh ok....2 or more you are bound to be a mad man at some point. I will agree some guns I have may overlap and with that its just cuz...well....I like it and want one..but again you can only use one at a time.

Having lots of guns is NOT hoarding. It is not abnormal. It is not a sickness. It is what it is.
I will not compare guns to everyday tools either. Sure, I have multiple hammers. Each hammer has a specific task in its design.
Not all guns are like that.
I have a couple "Sets" of guns; I own two Springfield 1911's that are exactly the same. How come? Because. I have multiple 10-22's. Same reason, because.
I am not a hoarder. Not at all. Most of my friends that have lots of guns and ammo are not hoarders. We buy what we like. We like guns.
We (I) do not buy guns to outdo others nor do I buy them to brag and showoff. Sure, when I get something new, I share it with those who will appreciate the new purchase.
We are no sick in the head because we own multiple guns. It is not abnormal either.
