Right. I looked at a better quality picture. It has safe semi binary settings. Franklin armory, if comments on a page are to be trusted, has told someone who called that its not a smoothbore.

Throw a stock on a Glock 26 (yes they make them) and now you have a short barrel RIFLE

Yeah no this is some how a firearm but also a SBR and also no tax stamp or a short barrel firearm.

Probably the one cool AR15 thingy to come out of shot show in the last 3 years of stagnentation

I would say fixed mag, but I believe the binary trigger would cause the main issues

Isnt There nothing actually against binary triggers here or did i miss something.

This category includes any firearm with a buttstock and either a rifled barrel less than 16" long or an overall length under 26". The overall length is measured with any folding or collapsing stocks in the extended position. The category also includes firearms which came from the factory with a buttstock that was later removed by a third party.
Perhaps that's the loophole?

It says either the short barrel or overall length. So if it has either of those its an sbr.

Not a bad thought, but the atf standard of measuring barrel length is by sticking a dowel down the muzzle and measuring how far down it goes with the bolt closed.
