Agreed the original design seems more legal and also better. Looks like they are falling into the trap over designing and not keeping it simple.

I've wanted a slide from these guys for while, but this is interesting development. I don't think it will work but they are claiming independent verification.
I'd be interested in seeing a better top view, can't tell if this is like a ported barrel and slide or is it an extended slide just milled in some areas.

Hey guys! I'm new to NYGF but I wanted to jump on here and let you know what I'm doing over here in California since we're in the same boat. I'm trying to get this threadless compensator made but need help getting it funded! I currently own a non firearm related company and this is just a pet project as someone who wants this for myself haha. Anyway I hope it's okay I'm posting this here I just wanted to tell you guys about this thing and hopefully we can drum up enough support to make it a reality!

I have to ask how would you fix that to the barrel? Would we be able to install it ourselves? Would we be able to remove it for cleaning? You don;t need to tell trade secrets just generalities.

Hey thanks for understanding with the "trade secrets" I kept it somewhat vague until I get the patent sorted out. So it essentially works exactly the same way a threaded comp does with cleaning, installation etc. It is simply held onto the barrel with a set screw instead of threads of any kind. Also the way the barrel is designed it would be virtually impossible to install a suppressor or any other kind of device. So it seems pretty cut and dried as far as the legality of what constitutes a "Threaded barrel" .

Hopefully I can get the funding! Otherwise it'll never come to be. I am working on getting a few prototypes sent to some youtubers to get some more traffic but even those will cost $5,500 haha. We shall see, hopefully I'm not the only one out there who really wants one of these!

Posted a spicy meme in a "secret" meme group.. FB algorithm insta banned me.. but I challenged it (I got the meme off of Facebook hahaha) and then Facebook overturned the flag, so the let the photo post but I still got stuck with 7 days... cant do anything not even messenger.
In my defense this is only the 2nd time I've ever been banned hahhaha
I'm only mad because the post I got banned for was allowed to still be posted hahaa my gf and buddy keep going back and forth on the post knowing I cant do anything until the ban is over...
