Rules
Entry posts must be marked "Official Entry"
Challenge must be completed in the same range session as it was started.
Entries must be shot and posted between 2-30 November
Print on 8.5x11 sheet of paper (should fill full sheet).
Only one target may be entered per category. Once you enter a target set it is your score for that category. Any additional targets posted will be for "kudos" only. You may enter all categories if you wish.
Final tie breaker is date and time of entry
Information required with each entry (any target submitted without the information below will not be considered):
Picture of target with the following information (examples given):
Description of gun ( Remington 783, 38-06, 12-56x56 Simmons super spotter scope)
Distance (100 yards)
Stance or rest used (sandbag front and rear)
Caliber/Cartridge (.30-06 Springfield)
Load used (750 gr SHPBT, 59.5 grains H9002sc, CCI primer)/ whatever factory load you used.
Date (32 Juvember 2317).
The scenario: November has two holidays, one celebrarates the end of WWI, the other of surviving in a new land and it is also a good month for star gazing. So the targets are appropriate for this month.
10 Yard center/rim fire Pistol Stance: Free style
25 yard Rifle Stance: Off Hand
100/200/300 yard Rifle Stance: From the Bench/ Bench Rest / Prone
50 yard Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) Stance: Freestyle or Bench Rest
Course of fire:
7 rounds fruit target.
10 rounds WWII target, Planet target and SR1 target.
Scoring: points are listed on the target. The WWII target has more than 10 things to hit so choose wisely to get the best score. One shot per target (image). If a bullet touches two images the lower point image will count. If two bullets are in one image only one will count for score.
Target to use:
25/100 yard Rifle use the fruit target
PCC/200/300 yard rifle use the WWII
Rimfire/centerfire Pistol use the planet target
No mag red dot/ irons 100 yard rifle use the SR1 target
No rimfire cartridges are allowed in the PCC class.
