If the NRA fails to take on the current Liberal Progressive overreaching anti-firearm legislation, there won't be anything for them to ever challenge again. They've sat on their asses so long that their opponents are now in their face, en masse, empowered, and prepared for war.

If I were the NRA, I would throw everything they have at every anti gun bill that comes up.
Between the leftists believing they are baby killing nut jobs and most of the 2A community knowing they are ineffective, they have nothing to lose.
But they could win back support from the gun community if they put on a full on attack.

If they don't do something significant, there won't be a "gun community" for much longer. There will just be a bunch of people who sit around and talk about things that they used to own.

The NRA President has called for a special meeting of the Board of Directors to take place on Sunday, March 14, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. in Dallas, Texas. The sole purpose of the meeting is to provide a briefing to the Board regarding the NRA’s reorganization plan for the purchase of 25 tailored
suits for WLP at his choosing.
Also we will making more phone calls for donations in the weeks coming incase WLP wants golden trim on the sleeve cuffs and golden buttons.
