I got no argument with you on that
I'm by no means a physicist. Like everyone else I took classes in undergrad and grad school and did a few labs. That's the extent of it. I have never smelted anything. At best I solder stuff sometimes or weld stuff sometimes when working on my hobby cars. But I do know that humans melted metals by burning wood and the iron age was 3,000 years ago. Steel is just iron and a bit of carbon - we all know that. Google says I can melt iron at 2,800 degrees. From my USAF days, I am fairly certain JP4 is like a mix of gas and kerosene. Google says JP4 will go up to 6,670 degrees. Even with new math; 6,670 is greater than 2,800. So I'm sure those planes filled chock full of jet fuel could melt stupid iron. Especially if the wood in my back yard can. It's really hard to keep a secret. Anyone who ever had a girlfriend and a wife at the same time can attest to that fact. I cannot imagine how many people would need to keep a secret if the CIA built in all kinds of explosives to all those buildings, and that they didn't really kill a shit ton of civilians in planes. That would mean those people had to be paid off, the families had to be paid off, and every one of maybe 20,000 Americans had to 100% keep a secret. Yeah - I cannot even see 10 people keeping a secret, let alone 20,000.
