Up for sale is a numbers matching Chinese Type 56. Production date is 1959 so it has the milled receiver vs the later stamped receiver guns. Also has the blade bayonet (not pictured, but comes with it).

Dating The Chinese SKS

Serial number is 3088 which puts it around 1957-1959 production (most likely 1959)

Comes with original blade bayonet, 2 tapco 10/20 magazines (if you want it to be detachable magazine, spare firing pin and firing spring, spare oem fixed magazine, 27 metal stripper clips, and 320 rounds of tula steel cased 7.62x39.

The type 56 is a shooter. I have had it to a 50 yard range and using the stock sights was hitting the bulls eye. More pictures are available upon request. Buyer pays transfer fee, I will transfer to C&R if you have a valid C&R license. If you are looking for an SKS type rifle, these Type 56's do not come up very often.

I would be willing to ship. With the ammo it would probably be in the $40-$60 range I'm guessing. I would have to ship to an FFL unless you have a valid C&R license.

The Chinese go by the year it was adopted. They adopted both the AK and the SKS platform in 1956, hence they are both type 56.
