Got a pm from one of you at that other site advising about this place,so here I am.Originally from NYC,moved to Columbia county about a year ago.Retired MOS,have a mild interest in guns,only shoot a couple times a year,although I have a place to shoot anytime.Found these forums when I was researching the Springfield XD.Traded in a Springfield 1911 and an "extra" Glock 19 I had,got the XD mod2 3.3 bbl in .45 and $100 for the 2 pistols.Have a total of 6 handguns,4 of which I "inherited" when friends/coworkers passed away.One of them is a Ruger Super Blackhawk I had scoped,I've been using this for hunting for the last 10 yrs,beats the snot out of carrying a rifle.Also have a Ruger MkII .22,a S&W mod 60,a Colt Det Special both .38 and my old service Glock 19.I know,a lot of guns for somebody with a "mild interest",but like I said,I inherited most of them.
