NY AG suing mean arms over mag lock

If they wrote "that attaching a mag by permanently--- gluing, welding or pining/locking the magazine into the receiver to prevent mag changes in 15 seconds..............., like the did to the mags themselves...... we would be ok, but they did NOT write that as a legal option.

I registered 4 AR's back in 2014, so all my uppers are for them.
I "recently" added Thordsen stocks, I had in storage to my 2 other ARs.


A Saiga rifle, with Rem 700 Rifle style stock is what they want for AR's.
I had a Saiga rifle back then and foolisly did not register it as it was not an AW...I wish I had now...I could have converted it.

Law is ten years old...grace period is gone. Don't be that guy.

If Thordsen and the alternate pg replacement mfgs get sued, like MagLock, we will know the intent of Auntie, and the law.

SCOTUS has to declare, that banning any class of weapon is unconstitutional, as they did in Heller...........but THAT went unenforced............ and that preventing the sale of registered AWs to other NYS citizens is also patently unconstitutional...........the "features" scam "is just that a scam to ban all weapons possible...............by CCP and worse.

Rights not specifically reserved to the Federal Government are granted to the various States, and to their individual citizens...US constitution.

The S/Act said that if the weapon is capable of accepting a detachable magazine....nothing about glue in the law........

I do not know of any means of permanently attaching a mag to an AR that I cannot defeat, even by TIG welding aluminum mags to the receiver............

IF the law said................. that ANY means or method, of permanently attaching a detachable magazine to a receiver, like gluing, welding pinning........ must be approved by the Superintendant of State Police.........State Police standards do not exist and never have.....the state simply did not act on the Mag Locks issue until Auntie........and the Mag Lock can be defeated easily..intent has nothing to do with it.

The law is clear and NO case will be brought that a man attached a mag to a receiver that is impossible to take out, will be heard..........the law does not permit equivocation.

If Thordsen stocks are banned by Jemima, then no AR in the state that was not registered by 2014's deadline, will be legal to own...............none of them..along with the other missing millions of AR's.

Only SCOTUS can stop this communist anti gun maddness by Court Order, like in Bruen......

Th only market was in NYS and California.........the mag loaders were neat.

The Illinois matter has to go to SCOTUS soon.

I truly expect a comprehensive, blockbuster-tornado of a decision, that will consolidate the diverse, existing and contradictory opinions, already in the SCOTUS appeals docket from lower courts, regarding assault weapons..... that will blow the roof off all efforts to ban the AR, in all Ban states like NY, CT, Cali, Maryland, Illinois Mass ,etc............that Safe Act boat will likely eventually sink in the Hudson of its own, unconstitutional weight.

I expect that the evil features matter, and NYS registration and sale restrictions on pistols, AW's and semis,, to subsequently evaporate like piss in the wind....like what Bruen did to concealed carry restrictions.

I entirely expect NYS to refuse and reject any such decision.............. to making AR's and pancakes..........
It will be a fight afterwards, but we should win at SCOTUS.........freeing the millions of hidden AW's in the several states................where did they all go? only 43,000 AW's in NYS?

I really hope the attorneys get their shit together and expose this madness for what it is.

We've all said repeatedly on multiple threads a mag lock is a mag lock. They can all be defeated it just comes down to how many tools you want to use and how much time.

If I just need 5 mins and Allen keys, is that any different than if I need 15 minutes and a drill or hacksaw?

i would think sliding a credit card down the side of the mag well would pop the detent holding the mag in .

the detent has to move to get the mag inserted ...

Yeah, that’s not how the mag catch works on an AR. They’re square, and protected from that scenario by ramps built into the mags. So stop talking crazy.

There is no spring holding the MagLock brand, mag release in..it is locked up solid... the locked in mag, needs to bend in on the release side of the mag,to release it. Possibly a thin sawzall blade?

To remove the MagLock itself, you have to drill out the sheared off bolt, that is flush with the round piece, that looks like, and replaces the mag release button. Takes more than a minute to do and then you have to replace the maglock with an actual mag release and spring...about a ten minute job..makes for extended time for mag changes for sure.

Federal Govt does not grant rights to anything, and no government "grants rights" to individuals.
States formed the Federal Government.
The Federal Government isn't even a party to the compact that created it. It certainly didn't exist when the States were created, and the States did not exist when people ENFORCED the fact that rights are an inherent property of one's own individual being.

Rights are delegated, not "transferred".

That Libertarian ship sailed, once the Constitution was ratified along with the BOR.
Rights come from God.............. but the Bible is full of Kings and rulers-only the current USA allows freedom from a Kings sole jurisdiction.

The Articles of Confederation-- a Libertarian dream, was a nightmare of gangs, thugs and lawlessness and was worse than a king.

Without the Consititution laying out what Fed responsibility would be, and what a Central Government, with Legislature, Courts and Executive Branch would be...... taking over a for a King, and that took on the former duties of the Colonies/States in large regard, the States would still be responsible for what are now listed as fed responsibiiities, like the mails, postal roads and free public schools, and free interstate commerce...no state tarrifs.............. and then what was left, after States jurisdiction ended, was then granted to the citizens of the Nation and the various state, who voted for ratification/ BOR.

We are as free as a people can be, and libertarians are just essentially rejectors of any governments just laws...........not unjust laws.........
