Again with the fantasy that is microstamping. People who understand less than nothing telling everyone everything from disciplines they can't even comprehend. Politicians are magically experts at every known science or subject when they are sworn in. And when they need a real expert to testify about some proposal or law, they call on Hollywood actors, entertainers and youtube channel owners. And we wonder why the laws they pass are so ineffective and fucked up.
This is so easily circumvented, that the only people it's stopping are legit gun owners.
Additionally, I can't imagine the grooves they cut will last long anyway with people shooting their weapons regularly at a range.
I hope this doesn't pass. Does anyone here know how many times they've tried to pass microstamping? I think they have in the past, but it keeps getting shot down.
done. i wonder how this will affect reloading? i image you could even reload someone else brass and then fire it from a weapon without microstamping. or a cartridge that has multiple microstamps? This will never work.
Why don't we legislate that cars must get 200mpg? Just as useless... Can't legislate something that doesn't exist, and I'm sure something easily removed! By wear or purpose, especially the criminal element, yeah, I'm sure they'd make sure their micro stamp is working properly! Nothing but noise!
