They are not saying the Bill is full of lies.
They are saying they don't want those opposed to these unConstitutional mandates to be able to use the Democrat's Bill to "spread lies" (which are actually truths), so, like typical Dems, they are trying to hide the evidence.

I knew it was an older bill and did t think it was directly related to Covid. I thought it was because he hated the unvaccinated Jews and wanted to put them in concentration camps. I’m sure he would tell me I’m spreading lies and that could never happen….

The asshole (Perry) who sponsored this bill (as well as a few earlier attempts) apparently did pull A416.

Perry made some sorry ass false excuses after he withdrew his bill but (as mentioned on Twitter by a critic) "the backlash against your concentration camps was too overwhelming to move forward."

This bill was around before Covid. I’m not saying the reintroduction isn’t Covid related. I’m glad the backlash made them think twice. That’s what should happen.

Or, he’ll insert that language in a less controversial bill… say, a budget. Far as I’m concerned he needs to retire in shame but we all know that won’t happen.

I feel that way about 99% of democrats. Manchin and Sinema can stay because they have morals and common sense. Other than that the other can piss off. It’s likely that their states teeter left and right and that’s why, but as for now they can stay. We will see if they hold.
