Just picked up my "Sportsman" License.
Lady told me it was too soon to renew fishing. I have to come back in October.
Since when?
Man these Bureaucrats in New York suck.

I thought fishing license was good for 1yr from date of purchase. Why couldn't it be renewed anytime?

I got my fishing, the clerk just reminded me to hang on to the old license till October. NYB's, yes, most of them suck!

Yeah they changed the expiration to a year from the date it is purchased because dickhead Cuomo wanted to buy a license in August one year and was pissed that it expired a month later.I wanted to buy the Sportsman as I have done all my life and couldnt because they wont issue a new fishing license til the old one expires.Stoopid shit,thanks to dickhead being a cheap fuck.

Depends on how far away your fishing expiration is. The clerk processing mine put a future date 1 month approximately for mine and it worked.

I just remembered that I got my Permission form the King to hunt on his property last year late.
Still, I don't know why they can't just issue a new one and I have to wait until October. Probably so for the guys like me that forget will mean a few extra tickets.
