I'm no expert, but I do know this much.no new law can conflict with the constitution. I don't need the Supreme Court to decide if the confiscation of arms is unconstitutional. It's unconstitutional on its face. it's an illegal law that does not have to be followed. (if you have the balls)

How so? After your 1st trial, why would you even need a lawyer? Anyone can pick up the pattern. When I served Grand Jury, I saw how easy the ADA's job was as far as the Courtroom's part of it goes.
Why would you even need a lawyer in your first trial if every gun owner did their job and ruled as per the 2A?
It looks like you are losing. And you know what? It's sad that you even want to win this argument. I'm not your enemy. The state is.
Had I been in your shoes, I'd gladly lose this argument and open my eyes to the possibilities of what can be done here.

On another issue: as I understand it, if you try to challenge a criminal law without being charged, the very first motion from the state will be dismissal for lack of standing.

I've heard all of this before about jury nullification chances are very slim that it could happen!
And some here say they don't need the courts or the SCOTUS to tell them what is protected by the 2A well in MHO it does work that way!

Jury nullifications via mistrials won't happen because people like you will probably vote guilty. Like I said before, it can easily happen if the NRA pitched it.
And why doesn't it work that way in regards to SCOTUS? Please explain that one. No matter what they say as far as criminal law goes, it can be nullified by a jury.

Again a defence lawyer would not want someone in the jury that as a County pistol instructor tells new applicants that they can only have 10 Rd mags!
And as far as the SCOTUS that is the final word on what is constitutional! Hopefully they get to turn over some of the Un-Safe Act!
How do you think you could nullify that much of the jury pools ? To get jury nullification!
