It very well may be, but it is NOT a 2A issue. The State was very careful in the writing of the SAFE Act, they never said you cannot transfer the guns, they only said not in NY State.

Wheels, trust me, I am 100% on board with the disdain towards the Government of NY and the laws they pass, that is not a valid reason to go to SCOTUS.

Funny how with all the quoting of the constitution the "experts" overlooked this:

"The Constitution also identifies RESERVED POWERS, which are set aside for the states. While the general ownership of firearms may be guaranteed by the 2nd amendment, there are no specifics. Absent that, the powers to regulate those specifics fall to the states.

Only in those cases where state regulations constitute a complete ban (as in Heller) is there any case to be made.

You may work to change the state laws but you will never get anywhere because you want a 30 round magazine or a bayonet lug.

Insofar as handguns go, the state does not forbid ownership, it only says for the common good and safety, you should have to demonstrate your suitability to own one and carry it concealed.

You and I may not like it but just like speed limits, it is the law put in place by elected represenatives.

At no point did I state his insulting others, posting photos that make no sense, or trolling efforts were supported by me. Neither are the efforts of others to "square the account" with insults of their own. What I DID say is that he, when he types a coherent and on point message, is saying what smart minded people are thinking and at that point in my post I expanded on my opinions.

I don't care about photos of a truck, an outhouse or whatever else he colorfully added to his posts. His belief that the majority of people who say they'll openly resist will have second thoughts when they seriously consider the outcomes of their actions. When he says this....he's right.
