the Nypd license division does not disappoint, the latest hurdle in obtaining a pistol can be a bit tricky. They are turning away any pistol that is not ''traditionally finished'' . This means pistol/revolver must be stainless steel, normal bluing or black, wood handles must be natural wood color.. many people this week turned away, One man, who was witnessed by a friend who was there registering a revolver was turned away for having a Glock 19 that had a brown colored frame and a normal colored black slide! Yep, its true, they claim this goes back to the Bloomturd era, I have looked and have not found a law or anything else pertaining to this except a memo stating this was going to effective on pink/red rifles... Its complete bs as usual to stand in the way of a God given right.. We asked why, only reply by a Sgt there said they don't want them confused with toy guns.. We then asked when was the last time a city pistol license holder pulled a gun out on a robbery or had incident with police, we did not get a reply.. So heads up everyone, be careful what color firearm you order.... This is not fake news.....This can only happen in the most unjust, stupid, strange and colorful world of our beloved NYC licensing division... I don't even think California would put this burden on its law abiding citizens, and that's saying a lot!
