NYS: New Law Bans ALL AR Modifications

In a late night vote, NYS Lawmakers passed a gun law strengthening portions of the SAFE Act. Ever since the SAFE Act went into effect, owners of the popular AR15 have been seeking ways to circumvent the law. Modifications to stocks, grips and the fixing of magazines have allowed owners to believe they now had a compliant gun. Late on March 30th, after State Legislature's passed the measure Governor Cuomo signed it into Law. The new law prohibits any modification to the AR15 that previously led owners to believe they were in compliance. Although this practice was never tested in the courts and remained questionable in many owner, law enforcement officials and law makers minds, the practice will no longer be in question. If you are sitting there reading this, your head starting to boil and thinking "you have got to be kidding", then you are correct, April fools.
