The NY law is different than search and search. Search and seizure procedures were created by the courts primarily., not legislative branch.
Remember it’s an ammo box. Not a plain green box. It’s not even a dry box. And yes people can use them for other purposes but it’s still an ammo box.

Tell you what. Take a 50 cal ammo box and ask a friend without giving him a clue of its contents or this conversation and ask him, what do you think is in the box? Most people will say ammo.
