A couple of days ago, I watched a squirrel do the most amazing thing: He did a back flip and climbed up a tree with amazing speed all at the same time. I think my semi-feral cat "Tucker" had something to do with that.

That cat is badass, I'm just saying. He's a huge cat and at the same time he has Olympic-athlete-like speed and capabilities, he's also a full-on predator. He's a really good cat. Except for he often leaves dead stuff or what's left of it near our back steps to make sure we'll see it.

There have been times when the wife walks out the backdoor and I hear her say something like.
"Jeeeez, Yuk, that frickin' cat!

I don't know if Tucker does that to share his kill with us, or if it's a humble brag type of thing.

Sounds like the cat a colleague of mine had when I lived in St. Louis.

He was named "Riley" and he was big, fast and a full-on killing machine. Every morning he would leave his night's victims neatly arranged at the foot of my friend's bed. Mice, squirrels, chipmunks, moles and the occasional rat.

The local dogs were terrified of him.

His favorite tactic was to climb a tree, go out onto the lowest limb and just wait. When a dog came by he'd drop out of the tree, land on the dog's head and rake the dog from nose upward with his claws.

Meanwhile the DEC by me ignores all the migrants snagging and foul hooking the salmon that are running and depleting this resource. I have seen it with my own eyes and many of them all keep undersized fish and anything they catch all year around. 9” bass great let’s eat it.

Another example of "top notch" police work. They should be proud. I wonder who the rats were that snitched? Some radical leftists for sure. I hope they are satisfied that this creature was put to death rather than living a happy life. These leftists are such miserable beings.

On eastern LI when I was a kid, they’d tie ropes across popular dirt bike/atv trails and then chase kids who were out riding down those same trails. Some folks got hurt and this got hushed up.

Had one chase me very aggressively (I was riding a street legal dual sport motorcycle on a town maintained dirt road), almost ran me over. Said I was off-roading illegally, and persisted in this even after I produced registration and insurance docs for the bike.

Needless to say, I’m not a fan of the green cops.
