Of course Obama and Clinton dont want a recount.
There are investigations in multiple states looing at the rampant voter fraud by the democrats. They just want it over so they can regroup.
Hopefully this twit Stien will open a huge issue with democratic voter fraud, dead people voting, and illegals voting.

Watch the margins grow bigger when they recount and the fraudulent votes get tossed. Then in Jan Sessions can go after every group and individual involved
It is a lose lose lose situation for all of us.
1. If the machines were hacked, there is no faith in the USA election process. And we look like a bunch of middle school kids who can't properly secure a computer network.
2. If there is fraud, it would most likely be on the D side, so that comes to light.
3. If there is fraud to Trump's benefit, it causes an upheaval in the peaceful transition of power, which is something we've proudly done for ever until this last election when people decided it was ok to protest with violence and flames/etc

So you just want to sweep it all under the rug? If there was wrong doing it needs to come to light and be punished. I'd bet my next paycheck that any fraud committed was by the dems and their ineligible voter scheme. If a recount was done and it might even give the popular vote to Trump and marginalize the whiner scum further and even shut them up.

No recount is going to uncover the fraud. They will recount the fraudulent votes and come up with the same total.
This is a recount, not an investigation of the voters.

You are correct sir. There is nothing to tie a voter to how they voted. So even if we could somehow prove that non-eligible people voted, their votes would still count in the recount. (On top of that, as you mention, a recount doesn't look at voter eligibility. That could theoretically be done on absentee votes, etc...but once canvased I believe the tieback is gone.)

One thing I noticed when I voted, and this isn't the first time I have noticed this, is that they write a number next to your name in the book you sign, and that number also goes on the paper ballot I fill out. I do believe at least to some extent, that our votes are being tracked, and have been for a while now..
I noticed that up here in The 'Hood. Thus, at least in theory, every vote could eventually be matched with a real, or illegal voter.
ETA: "They" can track my vote, if they really care in NYS, but any "official", or anyone else for that matter, hinting they know who I voted for will not like the result.
I really don't think they care about NYS - it's always going to be a liberal crap-hole, unless NYC cracks off and slides into the Atlantic.

Ah, I didn't say such a thing about wanting to cover it up. Any logical thought demonstrates that if someone ineligible is on the voter rolls, they are more likely to vote Democrat vs Republican.
A recount does not help Trump, or Hillary, or the country. Painful as it may sound, uncovering fraud on any large scale has massive repercussions than what we've been discussing so far.
It's kinda like what would happen if folks made a run on the banks to pull out their cash, or if all debt was called in - It aint there, we run this country on a massive ponzi scheme, and as we (and Mr. Trump) are going to find out, it is breath taking how vast that scheme is.
If there is large scale fraud to be found then it must be uncovered. If there are massive repercussions then good, I and like minded folk can use that as cover to adjust some attitudes the old fashion way.
