Suzanne Venker’s recent opinion piece on FoxNews is very, very important, because she points out that almost all of the most recent deadly mass shooters have one thing in common: fatherlessness.

Venker goes on to explain that of CNN’s list of the “27 Deadliest Mass Shootings In U.S. History, only one was raised by his biological father since childhood.


“Indeed, there is a direct correlation between boys who grow up with absent fathers and boys who drop out of school, who drink, who do drugs, who become delinquent and who wind up in prison,” she writes. “And who kill their classmates.”

This problem can’t be solved by any policy, or any sort of gun control. It is time to have a serious discussion about the degradation of our cultural norms.

An interesting observation that no one has pointed out before ...as far as I know

Actually government policy is the cause and solution tonthe single mother crisis. It is the welfare state in which a mother receives more money if she is single, it is the welfare state that fostered a breakup of the family. Prior to the welfare state teaming up as a family was the only way to survive. Now it is more profitable to remain single. Women have proven themselves incapable of properly raising children on their own. Not only boys but girls too have terrible prospects when raised by a single mother. Teen pregnancy, prostitution, death, all increased by a probability of up to 70%! What is most interesting is that those raised by single fathers do not have these increased risk factors.
As usual, women cry and bear the cross, while demanding a man actually carry it for them!

I have heard this. We know that not having a father around is massively damaging on the whole.

Since most people have no clue how statistics work, those who don't like the sound of this love to find an anecdote "My mom was a single parent and I turned out great", but from a population basis data matters and outcomes are way worse on average for boys who grow up without a father around. I believe this to be one of the key things ailing the black community, which has last I checked about a 70% single mother rate, and terribly high rates of all things that are bad such as failing out of school, going to jail, etc.

Being fatherless is damaging regardless of race, but when you look at which households have fathers, you see an interesting picture.

I'm guessing that Asians have an extremely low rate of this. let me check...*checks*.

Most Asians are also taught to respect their elders...and not bring shame to the family name ... One of the most important aspects of the Asian culture ..

BTW this guy ian black is right, boys are not getting support. I anecdotally had the impression about 10 years ago one day speaking to co-workers that boys were facing issues. These were co workers with one son and one daughter and the son was having issues: lagging in school, dropping out of college, all the typical bullshit. Meanwhile their daughters were flawlessly behaved, off to school doing awesome.

So then I find that studies have confirmed graduation rates, criminality, etc. all disproportionately on men. Part of that is likely hormone induced (violence leads to jail), but not all.

our society babies women and forgets men. Men do not live as long as women and yet look at all the pushes for "women's health". Are you kidding? Men are the ones who need health attention right now. High depression, suicide, heart attacks, etc. It's now politically correct to keep pushing women's issues as if men are already set up and good to go.

If these socialist politicians want to see 1st hand how well their policies will work, all they have to do is look inside our own country. Places like NYS and CA, which have huge social programs that have to be funded on the backs of the producers. Ever time there is a mass exodus of producers, they just raise the bar on taxes, and services to the remaining producers. All the while the slugs NEVER have to take a bite of the shit sammich the producers have to eat on!!

The real problem is that human society has always been gynocentric. Everything the man did was for the benefit of the woman and family at home. The man provided, the woman nurtured. This is how millions of years of development set things up. Now women are told that they should provide for themselves and add a 50% increase to a stressed job market while depriving the family of support. And woman do a demonstratably poorer job, mainly because they want/need more time off. Whether its because woman demand a better work/life balance or for maternity leave. Woman suck up more healthcare dollars. Women are by their very nature are hardwired to a more narcissistic mode of existence i.e. "what can you do for me" vs the masculine "what can I do for you".
All this focus in women is really just a bandaid to attempt to compensate for lower female workplace efficiency, they simply require more recourse than men. The old social contract between men and women came to be because it was beneficial for the survival of the species.
Where women displace men in their traditional roles men cannot flourish and where men languish society collapses. Woman are the driving force behind all civilization but they just are not suited to run it. Look at any society that woman have taken the leading role and it collapses. Maintaining a civilization often takes hard and sometimes cruel decisions that the nurturing nature of women find very difficult to do. At the same time after a day of difficult and draining work a man needs that female nurturing to stay balanced. Feminism is fucking all this up and no one is happy, everyone is miserable. Men are taking the biggest hit. Deprived of a purpose men are turning to substance abuse, crime, violence. Feminists would then say to remove men form society but without men society collapses. Women need men to provide and men need woman to nurture. It's very simple. As long as we struggle against that inherent biological configuration society will continue to spiral out of control.

Bottom line, women are fucking things up.
If women were so Goddman capable why can't they raise children on their own properly? Statistics indicate that a man can.

One of them 'Tim' and I where talking about this very problem of single mothers and he said " "My mom was a single parent and I turned out ok", . Now keep in mind we've known each other for years and I reminded him about him being a convicted felon and having a discharge under other than honorable and about all the time the police brought him home or the time DSS took them from the home and how he's white and has a black brother and a brown sister and how they all spent time in foster care and at times cared for their mother when she was drunk or high. The brother is also a convicted felon and the sister died of an overdose, none have had a single long lasting relationship and yet he told me that he "HAD A NORMAL CHILDHOOD"!!!
I asked if he thought his life would've turned out differently if his mother had've been married and stayed at home and cared the family, at first he didn't think it would've made a difference but after awhile he admitted it might have.
I guess that "normal" is in the eye of the beholder.

Toxic Masculinity, it keeps boys out of prison and to quote Chris Rock keep your daughter off the pole. That's the job of a father. There is a larger percentage of single mothers which could explain the statistics BUT women are become just as much dead beats so more data will soon be coming down the pipe. I would argue regardless male or female if the parent raising you has alcohol or drug issue your in trouble.
