Im just totaling speculating on this, I just don't want to be to fast to say they were all cowards simultaneously, while Corals police were all hero's,

lets hear their side of the story.I could be wrong,

There’s rumors that they were told to wait outside. I wonder if we will ever know the truth. You said it correctly earlier. We are supposed to listen to our bosses as they hopefully have more info than we do and are making the right choices.

So if true, I wouldn’t put this on the individual officers, but whoever was in charge of policies there and either never put in place or disregarded a “stop the killing” policy.

Exactly.I don't blame the officers if they were told to wait. The situation may have changed there could be hostages , They could be on the phone with a shooter or group of terrorist's. The officer needs to trust his leadership is doing the right thing. On the other hand if They were true cowards , they would be unfit for duty and should be dismissed immediately. Would you want to depend on those officers to come to your assistance? So, to me, if they were cowards they will be dismissed , if not, The only reason I can fathom to keep them on duty is because they were not truly at fault .

• The commanding officer on the scene of the Florida shooting ordered officers to stage and set a perimeter before the shooter was taken into custody

• A dispatch log shows the first order to set a perimeter was given at 2.32 pm, 10-11 minutes after the first shots wer fired, and a stage order given at 2.34 pm ( I fucking knew it)

• Dispatch log entries at later times indicate crews had not yet been made aware whether Nikolas Cruz, 19, had been taken into custody, at either of those times

• Two law enforcement officials said it's possible the command had more information than the other crews, so it may not have been a bad call

• The new information comes after SRO Scot Peterson resigned, after claims he acted against BSO policy by not entering the school and engaging the shooter

• Cruz remains in custody, charged with 17 counts of premeditated murder for his attack on Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida on February 14

My guess is that sherriff Isreal did not want to release the video because it was time stamped , and probably showed other officers outside also. He was covering his ass the whole time, and threw his own men under the bus to do it.
