Even people who don’t own a car are getting squeezed by fuel prices.
Literally everything you buy was delivered on a fossil fuel powered truck. And the manufacturer got all his supplies delivered by truck too.
So, the guy who says "hey, I ride the bus like a good little NPC drone, why should I care about gas prices ?" is going to be real pissed when he finds his grocery bill double.

It takes a lot of serfs to keep them in that lifestyle. When things get too difficult for the serfs, bad things happen to the lords.
I really think the "let them drive Tesla's" line a couple of them have pulled is going to go down in history as a very bad idea.

And 100F and what degrees in the summer?? I've lived in the Mojave and knew what 117F degrees was like. I like to be able to go outside during the summer. 78F degrees and partly is fine for me.

We'll hit 100 in the summer, but I've seen that in NY too. I think we saw 105 once last summer, but that was with 12% humidity. 12%. Compare that to NY where I had moss growing on the asphalt in my driveway.

I think it’s hilarious the day he starts to blame Putin for all this and says prices are going to rise more oil starts to drop. Today it’s around $100/barrel down for $130/barrel. By my calculations that’s a 30% drop when moron said it would go up.
