This action alone will shut down the economy of America. Any action to accomplish this should be viewed as deliberate sabotage.
More than 6000 items are made from oil. Someone should tell these 6000 manufactures of these 6000 items that they are about to be closed by Biden, Obama and Pelosi(BOP). And, who makes the machines, that makes these 6000 items that their equipment will no longer be needed. What about the people who run the machines making these 6000 items that they will no longer be needed, etc.

Has anyone actually compared the cost of running an ICE engine vs the cost of recharging an EV?
$70 to fill my tank from 1/4 to full vs ??? electrical cost to recharge an EV. (ignoring the initial outlay of buying the EV, and the fact that no EV has an equivalent range of an ICE vehicle, nor an equivalent 'refuel rate' as an ICE vehicle, nor a power grid that can handle the massive influx of demand required for everyone to switch to EV).

There is way too many variables to come up with a solid cost per mile. Need to know the delivered cost per kwh of your electricity (or where you buy it from if not home) and the efficiency of your vehicle (how many piles per X kwh. Its a big push that maintenance is cheaper...I bet thats a wash in the end since everything else is more expensive.
In general without actually figuring it out I hear $10-$25 for a deep charge thrown around (200-300 miles)
Again it depends on how you charge, you don't typically drive an EV like a ICE filling it up then driving it to empty. You keep it half ish charged, go do your shopping, let it charge 10% or whatever then bounce to the next destination, getting a little bit at each stop.

My sister had a Prius Hybrid ... Liked it Now this car was used for short trips around town. put very little gas / month in it. Cannot explain why a 5 year old Prius could only get around $6000 at trade in time ... Two years ago. . This is the trouble with Democrats. It is all in with the EV's .. Ban gas... Myself I say many folks would opt to have one EV and one gas or diesel auto in the driveway. Use the EV for small trips and gas for long trips. Don't know how much increase in their Electric bill was .

It's only cheaper until it comes time to change the battery. From what I've heard, 10 years is about it on those batteries. If my truck was an EV, I'd be looking at probably 5 - 10k to replace the battery. Definitely another lever to drive consumption and fuck the poors.

Solar is terrible. I have no use for it and every calculator I’ve done for my house is my cost is a net negative.
Of course those taxes are friendly toward the oil companies and Biden is not hostile towards the oil and gas companies.
