The war Was pretty convenient for renewables.

I always said they were going to raise gas prices so much that renewables is a valid option.

Im A Ok with this, but NOT until these renewable energy sources are established and ready to take over.

Thats like building a new house, but moving out of your old house before construction is complete andnloving homeless on the streets for a year.

We need to go for all "All of the Above" approach to energy. We need to crank up production of all of our domestic sources of coal, oil, and natural gas. At the same time, we need to ramp up as much hydroelectric, wind, and solar as we can. While that's underway, we need to plan and build the most modern nuclear reactors available (that minimize production of waste as much as is feasible). Down the line, we can bring fusion online (whenever the heck that will be....who knows).

As more efficient energy sources prove themselves, we can phase out fossil fuels. Until then, we're still at step #1.

I read this morning, JP Morgan Chase says Crude oil prices could hit $185/brl by the end of the year. That would push gas and diesel past $10/gal

then what. the ONLY WAY OUT OF THIS, is to produce our own oil. period

Since Monday has has gone up .60 cents in my area. One gas station jumped from 3.89 this morning to 4.19 this afternoon. I’m seeing regular as high as 4.39 out here. It’s gonna get nuts. I said 7-10 by the end of the summer , it might be that high in the end on May.

I agree but that ship has sailed. Even if the Feds released every shackle they have on oil production, it would probably not yield palpable results until around the end of this year. In the meanwhile, yeah, I’m willing to absorb the costs if it means we aren’t lining Russia’s (Putin’s) pockets.

I have also been thinking about a 150cc scooter to help alleviate things and have been for about a year - but I have my doubts that I’ll save $1500-2000 in fuel vs my 40-45mpg Civic to make the purchase price justifiable, especially when I bought my Civic for barely more than that. It would be nice to put my knees in the breeze again, though.

This is crimping our style a little. Now we will be staying at our rest areas for a week, instead of just a couple days. . But its not going to stop us, yet

It's all a scam. Not one has been able to reproduce the amazing MPG in real world tests. Not even close.
The last one I read of that claimed 100+MPG couldn't even match the 40MPG my KTM averages.
