Old handguns, no plastic junk!

Now that I got your attention, how about older semi-autos and wheel guns? You know like Browing Hi-Powers, Old Colt 1911's, milsurp handguns, single action revolvers? Plastic guns bore the living crap out of me. I have a couple and that is about it. To me new guns are like new cars, they come off a "cookie cutter" assembly line. So, am I one of the few on here who think like this? What odd-ball older handguns do you have? The odd ball below is a WWI Colt frame on a WWII Remington Rand slide. The guns looks like it went to hell and back but it shoots really well. I also acquired a Ruger Blackhawk in 30 Carbine (not pictured).

Had a few more, this is all I have left of metal handguns. And I agree, the plastic guns do nothing for me.

I had a WWII Remington Rand 1911 also marked United States Property. Used to shoot Bullseye with it. It was far from as Uncle Sam issued it though. Would have been ok for defensive use but needed lots of love to be competitive. I may pick up another one some time but doubt I'll find another for what I paid for that one.
The only metal handguns I own now is a 15" Encore lol.

No plastic on my metal guns. The 92 has rubber grips lol. The grips on that 1911 sure look like wood to me.

Right, some plastic grips on an otherwise metal gun is not like having plastic sights, plastic frame and a plastic RDS. Yuch!
