Very nice. I always wished that I would have picked up an M1895 Nagant when I had the chance.Oldest I have. Japanese Type 26. Production started in 1893. No production records exist, but the 4 digit serial number (out of <60,000) should put it around 1900, maybe a little earlier. No plastic here.

Damn, love that 39. You know they are hot right now?I’ll add a couple to the mix. The Walther has a few decades on the S&W. I took off the original grips to try and preserve them. As a side note, if anyone has a line on OEM brown/tan ppk grips from the era drop me a line. The S&W has the original box, warranty card and all the factory propaganda. Original grips are stored as well.
