Politically he is, as he says, center left. I am center right. Politically speaking.
While I disagree with some of his views I could discuss opinions sensibly with people like him.
Between center left and right meaningful compromise can be reached.

The source is the washington examiner which is a right of center publication. With that sourcing it wouldn't surprise me if this story gets buried. If it made the washington post or ny times then I would think the dems might be behind it as those are the official pravda rags of the democratic party.
