I wish I had pics. My friend took a couple Polaroids of it but I do not have them. The same friend mounted the head and has it hanging in his livingroom. As you know pics or it didnt happen!
I do have an archery tag but am going to wait for Xbow season and closer to the rut.Good luck out there today!
I woke up at 5 to go but rain and wind were not good and I felt like death so I went back to bed...might try and get out this afternoon.
Assume your in a treestand? much different than shots on ground at target. Gotta bend the waist lol...Ok, so it's been 5 years since I've hunted bow due to a past shoulder injury, but...
Four misses?!?
Yes, seriously. I shot 4 times and missed each time. Three were broadside beauties that missed high and one the deer was looking right at me and I missed right. Now that one I get, but the broadsides I should not have missed.
I've been practicing all summer and the last time the bow was out of the case (last week), I was hitting bullseye every time from 20 and 30 yards.
Is it because of the angle? Maybe I'm out of practice on that part...
Frustrating. I'm gonna practice mon/tue and head back up thursday.
