Thanks, that was almost 2 months since he initially sent it out (time flies in the gulag of New Yorkistan). You know how quickly things can go from "zero to shitshow" these days so I was wondering if anyone had tried since then. I left a deposit on a 22 target pistol on the way home tonight, it'd be awesome if I could pick it up before President's weekend.

It's orange county, so anywhere between 2 and 35 weeks.

They tell people 6-8 weeks at the window, but I'm hearing 3-5 weeks.

I'd love for one of the "pro-2a" county clerks or sheriffs we've had to actually process these in a timely manner.

Dropped it off at the county offices this afternoon so I'll call it dropped off tomorrow, January 30th.

Nothing exciting just a Smith & Wesson 22A-1 for plinking and to get my kids comfortable shooting. My daughter turned 21 last month and I'd like her to go for her CCW and this would be a good way to get her started shooting.

I'm not going to bitch since I forgot to put a copy of my permit in the envelope and they didn't mail it back to me to redo.

Why? Because my name, SS#, ethnicity, etc changes between amendments?

Dropped off the amendment today, no one asked and I didn't offer. It definitely is a question to ask our supposed 2A friendly county clerk on why this is being part of the amendment paperwork.

Wow! Signed by the judge the next day. Mailed 8/27, in the mailbox yesterday with a holiday. Something in the water in Goshen.
