Unless you own property there, they will not issue you one. You can however legally carry loaded in your car's glovebox.
I know about the property requirement. As I said before I'll be getting a SC non-resident permit soon.

You can add Colorado and Oregon to the "Carry" list. You cannot conceal carry since they don't recognize non resident permits, but you can open carry in those states without a permit, however the cities of Denver and Boulder have an exemption in CO law that prohibit open carry within city limits, and I believe a few cities in Oregon like Portland require a permit to open carry.Like others I have NY, CT, FL, PA and UT. All pretty easy to get. This is the coverage it gets me.

Concealed Carry Permit Reciprocity Maps (Updated October 10, 2018)
My Kentucky permit gets me all I need, 37 states.
What I did find interesting (OR should I say, DISTURBING!!??), is that NYS, and NYC are listed like they are different states, in this map.

Permit(s) Not Honored In:
California, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Guam, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, New York City, Oregon, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, Virgin Islands, Washington, American Samoa, N. Mariana Islands
I understand that, but the point I was making is that if it's not recognized in NYS, shouldn't that include NYC also? I find it interesting that they want to be treated like a separate state, until it comes to splitting them off as their own state. Then they want to be 1 state because they want the tax dollars that come from the rest of the state.

Exactly!Ok ok I see what you are saying, you are saying that if the KY isnt recognized in NYS why even list that it isnt recognized in NYC.
And yet it says; New York State on my PP!!Hell a New York state license isnt even valid in the city.
KY. I let my FL, and UT expire. This 1 covers everywhere I need, 37 plus my home state. So it doesn't cover the left coast, or the usual Northeast corridor, big deal. I have zero intentions of visiting either of them anyway!
