Maybe they figured dropping a 320 wasn’t dangerous enough, now a chance it blows up!

I'm not concerned with it blowing up, action is just the standard Browning tilting barrel which is well capable of handling 10mm pressures.
I have just read that the P320 frame- FCG subassembly interface isn't well suited to high powered, high pressure cartridges. Slide velocity and all that.

I’m wondering if it’s a different fire control group that does not interchange with other P320’s. I know that the 45acp fire control group does not work with the other P320’s

I believe the article said that it has the 9mm/40/357 FCG with a .45 sized takedown lever.

I don't own a P320 to be able to speculate, but if a simple swap is possible, it would be really cool. It would be pretty sweet for fans of the platform to easily be able to swap between 9mm for edc and cheaper practice to 10mm for hunting and woods carry.

I would too but this is half the price. I will definitely be picking one of these up when they decide to release it to the plebs like me. I love my x5 so I'm pretty sure this will be on the same level.

SiG never did a large frame double stack metal frame gun did they? I wish they had. I'd really like a 10mm version of the 226

I think they made an elite version of the p227 with alloy frame 4.4 barrel. I may also be incorrect . It was also over a grand.
