Furthermore, I didn't "take anything personal" or "invent things" or "pull things out of thin air" that Old FM Ed might have said...he's transparent, an easy target and it was fun showcasing his jaded weaknesses and foibles towards anything he opposes. You Sir are disingenuous in your attempt to defend him and I realize that you had to disenfranchise and sacrifice yourself...for a buddy...an unworthy one at that.

And I take offense at your characterization of Ruger enthusiasts as "simple people."

I used to wonder why firearms enthusiasts everywhere do not work together as a unified and dominant force politically, to achieve mutually beneficial goals. I can't even post a simple question asking "Who will be shooting their Ruger PCC in Competition," without being attacked endlessly by fruitcakes with countless accusations of inadequacy towards an inanimate object...the Ruger PCC. The brown truck was just here delivering a box full of custom parts for my Ruger PCC. You know, the gun that's not customizable:

I'm foaming at the mouth to get out and get this thing customized even though I'm only a simple person behind enemy lines in a non-free state and not smart enough to know that it's not customizable. It's only just begun.

Second the rules for the indoor range were in place long before I was a member! And they are pistols, no ammo over 2000 fps, rifles in 22lr only no centerfire rifles (and you your self posted a thread about a 65 gr 9mm that is 2100 fps if I recall)

Now for me being a Fudd, Lets see I help out with the Hunter Ed classes at the Club, I am a NRA Rifle and Pistol instructor and a NRA RSO! I have helped with the new member orientation for years and now I'm the lead instructor! I am a Appleseed instructor (two full weekends a year at my Club) teaching shooting from a Standing, Kneeling/Sitting and Prone positions at the AQT target! I also am one of the County Pistol Safety Class Instructors from time to time! All of this I do for free except the County class which is claimed on my taxes! So if that make me a Fudd I can live with that!!

Now what do you do for the Firearms community?

@11inarow I see you are in Schenectady, If it is any interest to you my Club (Sara Spa Rod & Gun Club in Greenfield Center) does hold matches that are open to non-members! A once monthly IDPA match with I believe 8 stages and I know they have been talking about the PCC division. We also do a Tactical practice match which is shot at 7,15,30,60 and back to 100 yards, With mixed shooting positions. A lot of fun, I have done it with my mini 14 but I now can do it with my ARES SCR or the PC9! Along with practice CMP and F-class matches.

Now I understand why he thought they were innovative.

I've been running a Lone Wolf G9 that was built to only take Glock mags for years now. Someone call Lone Wolf and tell them that Ruger is doing it better now with an insert.

Well at least he's got a tactical buttplate now. That advanced checkering on the plate really helps with keeping it shouldered properly.
