Pennsylvania is an odd state, we are an open carry state but as to whether LE respects that right will vary widely. Doing so in Philadelphia for example is sure to draw large amounts of attention and there are probably ordinances against it which in themselves would run afoul of the state preemption clause. There is always some kind of legal fight going on regarding gun rights in PA.

We really need a well funded group that just trolls the nation for violations of rights by local governments and sues over them, with the intention of turning a profit.

They need to prioritize the profit over the repeal of the statutes. When the only down side for the municipality is that they get told to stop, they have no incentive not to push it.

When they need to worry about losing a boatload of cash if their officers don't behave themselves, they will straighten up and fly right.

A municipality should be as afraid of liability for the bad actions of their employees as any other corporation. Violating people's rights due to ignorance should absolutely be a major source of that liability.

I think we need to do what tge anti-gunners do and constantly bring pro-gun bills to the table over and over and over again.
