Pennsylvania eliminates reciprocity via nonresident permits

Effective 4/16/2018, Pennsylvania no longer honors nonresident permits from states other than their own.

The Pennsylvania Attorney General has updated all existing reciprocity agreements to include very specific language that states Pennsylvania will honor permits issued only to residents of that state.

With this taking effect, will some of the non issuing counties now issue to out of state persons? I'm guessing no. This sounds like a money grabbing plot by PA.

Did you guys read it so far it only effects Virginia, read the change. I will not comment any more from this point but the OP was very vague and not to descriptive in what PA really did. Looks like scare News Tactics. His first sentence is very misleading.

No. It does not impact only Virginia.
It impacts any state that has reciprocity with Pennsylvania that also issues nonresident permits. This includes New Hampshire as well. Did you read the actual updated agreements to which I linked?

From the way that's withwri it would appear that pa Anacortes carry permits from every state as long as youryoa resident of said state, as well as any form it permit from those starte listed.

All this is saying is If you are 21 and older and Have a concealed License in those States then you do not need a Non Resident Pa one.

So then basically you just have to get a PA non resident permit. Done.
