Most full auto war trophies and those legally purchased in the U.S before 1934 are already lost forever. I bet the NFA compliance rate was low, just like AWB in several states. The tyrants will just wait for the rightful owners to die out, their heirs will not want to deal with the contraband that was once legal to own.

Yep. I mean think about it now. Your cousin comes up to you and tell you that he found a full auto M14 with a defaced Serial Number in the attic after his dad died and wants to know if you want it because he wants nothing to do with it.

I'll bet at least 50 percent of the people here will take pause, think about it, and probably pass. Especially if their wives find out.

I mean you have people here that'll disarm when going to the post office or a school when no one could ever know. Even in the winter.

I guess non-compliance will be the word once these laws come down. We've already seen it here and there in this state or that. Wait til it goes national. This sort of reaffirms what @GOPerfect has been saying. We won't see a unified and effective front and challenge until we are all facing this as a nation and not just one or two states. Shit, even Canadians got it when their government tried to force registration.

Funny you mention that, one of the "gun blogs" talked about what happens if I find a machine gun in a dead family member's house, their suggestion was to do your best to find NFA paperwork, if unable to find paperwork destroy the receiver yourself and keep the remaining parts, it does not matter if your grandfather legally purchased it at a hardware store in the year 1925, big brother already made us all felons. Like you mention it will be the same in a generation or two with AR15's.

I'm sure the many who chose not to comply with the NFA did what they thought was best, remember $200 in 1934 was a lot of money many could not afford during the Great Depression. As these people keep dying out their heirs will bear the burden of being the new felons. I wonder how many people were unaware their legal property was now contraband unless they paid the $200 extortion fee, there was no 4473 forms, no such thing as an FFL, and most stores did not keep records of buyers.

Who has a few $$$ I can borrow Many PAFOA regulars have seen this MG in person, at the group shoots where Ungawa brought it and generously allowed others to shoot it. You know how well it works.

The estate is selling it now, and will also be selling his M-11/9 which will be listed separately.

His Colt is a pre-1986 fully transferable machinegun. Price is now $28,000. It's in PA, requires a Form 4 to you if you're in PA, or a dealer in your home state if you live outside PA.
