.380 rifle..380 auto, 9x23 Winchester, 9x25 Dillon, there are a few others but you get the point.
It is law. Stores are not to sell pistol ammo to someone without a matching pistol on their permit.
Dick's did ask for my permit, but they were okay when I said my .22lr was for a rifle.
Challenge accepted. .458 Lott pistol? .41 AE rifle? Not true at all.
Store policy, not law.
I do not know of a single caliber that does not come in a rifle and pistol.
Well there are unicorns afterall
My father has a 45-70 revolver. I haven't shot it yet, looks too painful.Challenge accepted. .458 Lott pistol? .41 AE rifle?
I think one can make a Dillon rifle too. Do you think that's possible?Well there are unicorns afterall
Yes, but how about .458? or .338 mag? How 'bout .257 Roberts? My father has a 45-70 revolver. I haven't shot it yet, looks too painful.
it may be but I wouldn't buy anything with their name on it.I think one can make a Dillon rifle too. Do you think that's possible?
What in the world is the point of that I ask? Why that over the 9mm version, no advantage whatsoever.Well there are unicorns afterall
Not a challenge, just me being ignorant.Challenge accepted. .458 Lott pistol? .41 AE rifle?
If someone was do inclined, they could build one from scratch.Challenge accepted. .458 Lott pistol? .41 AE rifle?
After doing a bit of googleing, ive found a few guys that have built 380acp rifles. Apparently they believe they are perfect "critter control". Not many critters my .22 mag wont deal with, but hey, each to their own.Well there are unicorns afterall

This state is so messed up, in Buffalo the Dicks, Gander, Bass Pro... none have ever asked to see my permit. Walmart asks, but I just say rifle and they sell to me.Dick's Sporting Goods will ask for permit, they back off if you tell them rifle.
My LGS never asks, never been asked at a gun show.

I had Dick's ask for my permit, when I said rifle, they just entered a generic number. Gander asked rifle or pistol, and when I said rifle, they just asked for DOB. It was for .22lr in both cases.I have never been asked for my PP. I buy from dicks 9mm and .45 acp never bought from Walmart. Gander just asks my birthday.
Look it's a law in NYC and NYC only. A gun store will never ask for anything unless they think your under age. I'm close to 40 so it's clear I can buy it. If you have trouble and your near Buffalo I'll buy it for you or just buy it on line and have it shipped to an ffl. Oh no I should not have said that.
When was the last time you were in runnings to buy pistol ammo. I tried to buy some 45LC recently and the idiot behind the counter wouldn’t sell it to me unless I showed him my pistol permit. I told him it was for my newly purchased lever gun and he told me it didn’t matter, it was state law. Dumb fucks .needless to say I told him how dumb he was and told the manager who came out from the back that They just lost a customer for life.Runnings does not ask for permit or DOB.
I dont give my real dob anyhow.
01 Apr 69 is my response
01 Apr cuz its April Fool's Day. 69 cuz, , well 73 has no sexual innuendo..
For what it's worth, I've been asked for mine while buying handgun ammo there. They also told me I had to go through an FFL to buy a pistol from my mom. Apparently, proper understanding of the laws isn't part of the job description.Yesterday. The one in Clay ( Syracuse).
