Pistol gun sights

I like to ask guys who shoot competition what sights do you favor.
I am getting up in years 73 and I find at distance 15 yards it take some time to dial into them sights..
I have no problems at 10 yards speed is still there and point if aim combat shooting no problems.
I run my Glock 17 with a red front fiber and the rear sight black.
I was thinking maybe a new set of trueglow
Fibers red front green rear sight.
What do you guys like to pick up the target ta distance

Well if you don't run a red dot that makes you a luddite now days but for me I really like Heine Straight 8 sights. They are a 2 dot nights sight but the front sight post is thin and the rear notch allows just a sliver of daylight through and I find the arrangement very conducive to accuracy.
I think they are suitable both for target and defensive shooting.
