I know but it's kingdom so even if she does have CCP in which ever state I'm sure she would still be facing changes
the one that should have read it is and his minionsYou should really read Heller v DC!! Which at this time is the law of the land!!
Not a lot to that news clip. Can not determine if it is a legitimate charge. Federal law protects transportation of a legal firearm.
I know but it's kingdom so even if she does have CCP in which ever state I'm sure she would still be facing changes
Other than the gun charge, was she arrested for a crime?FYI, Bridgeport is one of the highest crime communities in the country. Dollars to donuts she’s a perp.
This misunderstood Kingston "yout" got a 100k bond for a gun possession charge just across the river about the same time. But she only had a 9mm Ruger 9e and he may have had a Glock . Again gotta be more to the story.10k bail is a lot, even for a gun. There’s more to her story that a law-abiding CT resident “accidentally” crossing into NY with her legally owned firearm.
Other than the gun charge, was she arrested for a crime?
So is the Bronx. I'm from there.
If she was a prohibited person and an ACTUAL criminal then no problem. If she was simply violating some vtl's and somehow got pinched for carrying a legal to possess firearm, then fuck that!FYI, Bridgeport is one of the highest crime communities in the country. Dollars to donuts she’s a perp.
Well one could argue that driving is not a privilege since we are forced to pay taxes to maintain roads and other aspects of the highway system in general. However we (society) have been indoctrinated to believe that it is a privilege when in fact many would argue that we have a right to drive. And I would tend to agree. What violation of Rights? Driving a motor vehicle is a privilege and with that privilege a person driving in, or through New York and many States submits to "Implied Consent"... Forget about plain view, lmao! Do we know if, when, how, where the firearm was found?
What is amazing is the lengths to which people want to expand a person's so called "Rights" without knowing any details of the so called violations or offense. There are many liberties being taken absent knowledge and too much latitude given, evident here in some posts. Everyone wants to make LE the bad guys, when usually, that is 99.8% of the time, the furthest thing from reality! Stupid people deserve stupid prizes, and whether ignorant of NY laws, or just blatantly disregarding them, she was stopped for a reason, and that reason wasn't just because! With the almost million miles I've driven in my lifetime, I've never once been stopped for "nothing"... ever! The founding fathers provided notation on particular Rights, of which the ability to keep and bear arms is well discussed here. That said, that is not the cause in-fact of the stop, the firearm discovery was whipped cream on the pudding, not the pudding itself!
Talking about "Rights" did she invoked them or not? How does anyone know she did or didn't consent to a search? Are you aware the SCOTUS has noted that "Rights" aren't automatic or expected, that "YOU" need to exercise/invoke them, in order to have them? Did she? And does that make a difference? No, of course not at the time, well... not at least until she further exercises her Rights by demanding a Trial for her offenses, lol. We can debate, all day(s), on a million different scenarios based upon speculation, might as well write a fantasy book while we're at it.
I'm all for Rights, I'm not for using that as a "get out of jail" free card, or just because, then I can do whatever I want!
No, sorry!
It's supposed to be so per the Constitution unless that doesn't mean anything. We dont know. But you seem to be of the understanding that her gun was legal in CT.
I have every right to drive the same as a man had the right to ride his horse without a license unless there is no such thing as a natural freedom of movement.Well one could argue that driving is not a privilege since we are forced to pay taxes to maintain roads and other aspects of the highway system in general. However we (society) have been indoctrinated to believe that it is a privilege when in fact many would argue that we have a right to drive. And I would tend to agree.
