Wholeheartedly agree. They decided to get involved in the culture war and took a side. They chose poorly and they should suffer the consequences.

We didn't acquire Texas from Mexico. We acquired Texas from Texas, just saying.

PS. The way things are going, we may have go give it back.

Better example might be Alaska. If Russia decided they wanted it back, should we give it up ?

Maybe we can get the Dutch (Lenape Indians sold Manhattan to the Dutch for 60 guilder in the 1600s), or England to take NYC off our hands?
