Oh good, now do how much juice would be needed to fuel/recharge in the same time period as fueling a petroleum vehicle.
Then extrapolate out if we completely eliminated petroleum fuel and just used electricity, how much juice.

I'll wait.

Since 80% of our electricity is generated with fossil fuels, you need to add that to your equation

Electric vehicles *are* fossil fuel powered vehicles. Petroleum is an energy *source*, batteries are just a storage medium.


Well, technically the petroleum was all generated using solar power originally. By that measure *everything* is solar powered. Even Nuclear (just a different sun LOL).
