Not sure how valid the claim is but this channel is claiming to have seen the newly filed and granted patents for a Glock rifle.. appears to be in 5.56 or similar caliber design.
If anything I think they would make A PCC first...
I'm not gonna bite just yet. That said, I don't think it out of the realm of possibility considering the market for chassis that turn a Glock pistol into a carbine and just the PCC market in general. Not sure how valid the claim is but this channel is claiming to have seen the newly filed and granted patents for a Glock rifle.. appears to be in 5.56 or similar caliber design.

You caught me red handed. I haven't watched the video yet, lol.But the patents have nothing to do with that

Everyone is just trying to get their piece of the pie. It's been like that for a very long time now. You're thinking of it in a practical sense. All of these manufacturers are just looking at their bottom lines. I don't know if there's any innovation left to be had. What’s the point? What is it going to do in terms of cost, benefits, features that would make any law enforcement or military switch from the current platforms on the market?
The more people that crowd in the smaller everybody’s slice of the pie is. Glock mainly cares about law enforcement and military contracts, the civilian side of things come second fiddle. So to get a department or a branch to decide to replace their current rifles you either have to be cheaper than the already proven options or offer something better.Everyone is just trying to get their piece of the pie. Yup. And the companies still want that small piece. People and especially LEO will choose Glock over competitors because Glock. The more people that crowd in the smaller everybody’s slice of the pie is. It would be great for anyone that doesn't already have a rifle that can do exactly what it does. There are so many rifles and pistols out there that it's just the same stuff over and over and over. I'm personally done with the practical stuff. I want weird and wacky at this point. What of it turned out to be a good rifle at a good price?
18 pound trigger will be required for NYPD use. You know, because scary black rifle. Will this come with a shitty trigger from the factory?
