No I’m sticking with .308 because of my reloading capabilities. I really don’t have the space right now to add another caliber. I need a new house!!

I had to drill a small hole for the takedown pin detent spring since it goes into the grip like the safety selector spring on AR-10’s. I forgot about that when I ordered the regular MOE grip.

I can’t wait to get it to the range. I’m going to rough sight it in with some military ammo I go from my range then hopefully get it all settled with my reloads.

What’s the specifics of the military load? I have 98 of them to shoot.
Google M80 load data. They are typically loaded with a 147 grain bullet.
So my charging handle latch is loose or something so when I charge and let go it makes a really annoying “tinny” sound as it slams forward. Definitely getting replaced soon.

I have to use the forward assist every time I load a new mag and can only load four. First round has to be on right side of mag for it to strip it.

Are you using Pmags? I have issues with my Pmags that came with my RPR 6 creedmoor. I also had issues using Pmags with my 204,,,till I switched to Cproducts. The only gun Ive never had issues with Pmags is the 223.
This oil here which I get from work makes all my AR's run like a dream. All the years of having AR's, having the bolt not close all the way, jams etc etc,,,,,this oil solved all my problems, makes shit work like its suppose to. All my AR's work perfectly all the time now.

Have you done any research on which mags work best in AR10's? My research tells me all sorts of shit. They say Pmags, D&H mags and ASC. Obviously you think you have a problem with Pmags but I saw someone complain about Cproducts too. I honestly would try the D&H mags. ASC is what I think I will be ordering for my RPR but they are freaking expensive. 70 bucks for a 10rnd.
For 4 bucks you should try that oil I suggested too. Shit works. Me personally, I thought oil was oil when you first put it on,,,,,,,,,it should work for awhile then you add more........Not the case, the shit I suggested makes shit slide, move like gold.
I’ve been using Mobil One on all of my guns for a few years now. Haven’t had any issues. I really do think it’s the mag and possibly the light buffer.

I run David Tubbs flat wire springs in all of my AR 308s. Feeding Reliability issues had me go in that direction.
