The guy who prepares for zombies will fare way better against werewolves than the guy who didn't prepare at all.
Even if he wishes he had a stash of silver bullets.
In the real world, this means don't get too specific with your preps. Food, water, and Ammo are good for a lot of things, but don't discount the possibility that none of them will be what you're really wishing you had more of when the SHTF.

I have always (years ) have prepared for an EMP attack... Little by little ... If we have long term insurrection in this country The grid would be the first to go... We keep adding supplies. Have way too much on the credit cards ... We could have a hard winter (some say ) just purchased some tire chains for the tractor ... over $1000 ......It never ends ...

A few years back, I had some decent owed on CC's. Back then, I said the hell with it, won't have to pay them if the end comes anyway. Over the last few years, I have been able to pay them down to near nothing. Much of the CC debt was to fill my stores; it was a trade off that I was willing to endure.

I'm telling you, trail mix / mixed nuts. Huge source of dense, good calories for the space it occupies. A handful of trail mix is easily 200 calories, if not more. An entire bag is a massive amount. Low sugar / good calories, and if you vacuum pack them they last for a long while.

Honestly, I bought a bunch on Walmart and was just done with it. Walmart.com is faster than Amazon for some reason for me. I can order from Walmart.com, and since I have Walmart+ for groceries, they fucking wind up next day shipping me like 4 packs of toilet paper via FedEx. It's insane.

International freight rates have been going up, from what I've been seeing, so anything produced internationally is going up in price this winter. Pilots flying through places like South Korea have to quarantine for a period of time slowing the shipping process down by air.
So I stocked up on masks when I saw the prices start to climb / saw things start to get bad again in south korea where a lot of these international shipping flights take routes through.
My bet was right, and I've seen the price of those masks climb about 12.5-15% in the last month.
Also, the "effective" filtration rates of n95s even poorly worn for COVID is about 90%. If worn properly, you're looking at a 99% reduction, for both inhaled and exhaled air. Compared to 30% for cloth on the intake, and I think slightly higher for surgical.

I managed to pick up a couple of half face P100 respirators this summer. Wouldn’t use them unless covid 20 becomes real bad though.

I have a paint respirator I haven't used yet, with replacement filters. That's my worst case scenario filter. That being said, a full face mask is huge and difficult to fully get moisture out of.
Remember, the downside to full face, is you have to hand wash them between uses. With a good N95 / KN95, you've got a good 40 hours of potential use, and you've got to let them fully dry for 72 hours in something permeable for the virus to become not viable. But the process is merely throwing in a paper bag and waiting the 72 hours out. Far less of a PITA, and also fairly cheap when you look at KN95 prices of a little over $1 per mask. I also easily hit these with some UVC light before the drying period, as an added effort to reduce viability for reuse.
Anyway, I'd suggest looking into some KN95s. If you need a source, I highly recommend this guy: Face Masks | PPE | Face Coverings | Bona Fide Masks
I spent some time digging into approved masks and tests done against KN95s and N95s. If you look over the CDC testing results for this particular brand, their results have been stellar with a good seal. International Assessment Results | NPPTL | NIOSH | CDC (look for Powecom) I also verified the packaging was consistent with what the CDC was testing, and the manufacture dates were consistent. When the masks first started being produced, they were hitting 94% effectiveness. After a month they corrected the issue around May, and every test since then has been 98% or higher.
The only approved distributor is the above place I was able to find. They're based on Mount Vernon. Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either out there. I spoke to the owner and got some decent pricing on masks from them. They weren't doing masks pre-covid, but they started importing a ton for local hospitals when COVID hit.
