Any trappers in the Tioga area have a coyote skull they're just tossing?
You ever have the video running on your mono before jumping on the scope?Went out Sat PM with a buddy.
After arriving at the first stand location he picked out I knew we weren't going to see anything as we had no cover from the full moon, the wind was gusting and it was freaking cold.
Nothing wants to be out in gusty cold conditions.
After dropping him at his house I defrosted my hands and decided to hunt in wooded terrain where the wind wasn't going to be an issue.
First set was a bust, not even an owl, but no wind and much flatter terrain with pine trees to hide in the moon shadow.
After about 10 minutes on the second set I heard/felt something was watching me from my six and panned around just in time to see a dog coming to a full stop 20 feet away on the trail I was on.
It jumped a log and went into the woods.
It didn't go back into the woods far enough before stopping to look in the direction of the call.
Small female.
When I went to retrieve it, I found that there were two sets of fresh tracks.
I never saw the other dog.

Once I spot a target the mono goes into the chest pouch and I'm on the scope. You ever have the video running on your mono before jumping on the scope?
I've thought about doing it to make my video's more interesting, or just to add to them.
Though, the AGM Fusion mono is a pain in my ass when it comes to remembering which 2 buttons to hold down to turn it on.
Maybe if I attempted it more often, it would become natural.
