Preparing or Hoarding?

Im a light weight.I barely have 3 months of preps and 1000 rounds . I dont think I would need more than 1000 if SHTF. If I was ever in a real firefight I give myself 50/50 chance of survival at best. So Ill be dead, or pick up ammo from the dead . Without a team, field expedient or not, I cant last long .

This. You need a minimum of a least 4 men to be an effective fire team. If anyone thinks that they by themselves will expend more than 100 rounds and live, well...

So, there are a few things I really love to discuss. Politics is the top of the list. I love talking about social issues as well.

My favorite thing to talk about is kind of two fold, but one subject. I love talking about all the different possible, probable and could be scenarios that we may or may not face.

None of know what the future has in store for us. Hell, we don't know what is going to occur in five minutes let alone five years.

Because of this lack of future telling, we can only try to plan for as many different scenarios as possible.When I was in the Army, we would do OPORDERs and we would try to plan for all possible variables. Impossible to plan for everything, but that does not stop us from planning for as much as possible. This is what I do or at least try to do.

I stock pile all types of items. Food, water, ammo, guns, hand weapons, gas, medicines, etc. I purchased country property a while back and recently built a cabin on it. When I was searching for the land, I had very specific requirements for that land. I purchase silver and gold for, "just in case". I invest my money in well thought out plans. I am frugal now so I do not have to be later in life. I stay in relatively good shape. Gets tougher to do as I get older.

I do not hoard. I plan and I prep. Will some go to waste as the years pass by? Probably. Does that bother me? No, not at all.

If all life turns to shot, I will live longer and many will die sooner. Not sure of that is good or bad. But all of this has turned into a great hobby for me.
